The EU faces another example of botched regulations, this time leaving passengers and airlines in disarray. A program that started in October, requiring non-EU residents to take fingerprints and a photoprint at their destination, has caused delays of up to five hours for passengers. In the wake of long lines and delays, planes are often unfilled or delayed to cope, only compounding the issue. While broader travel security has been an issue of public interest, rollouts like this will just leave everyone unhappy.
